Privacy

Involve Energy collects personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We keep it short because the practice is simple: we collect what we need to model and deliver solar projects, and nothing is sold to anyone.

What we collect

When you enquire or use the calculator and ask us to follow up, we collect your name, business name, contact details, region and segment, anything you write in the message field, and the indicative calculator inputs you chose. If you proceed to a feasibility study, we also collect your power bills and site details, because the model is built from them.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, model your site, prepare proposals and financing options, and manage installation and monitoring if you proceed. We also keep records that accounting and tax law require us to keep.

How it is stored

Data is stored with access controls in our own systems, hosted with established cloud providers in the Sydney region. Power bills and documents are held privately and accessed through expiring links. We do not sell or rent your information; we share it only with parties needed to deliver your project (for example a lender or installer, with your knowledge) or where the law requires.

Advertising and cookies

The site runs without tracking cookies. If you arrive from a Google ad, the thank-you page may record an anonymous conversion so we know the ad worked; this does not identify you.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to retain it. Use the contact page and we will sort it promptly.
